Multivitamin and trace mineral concentrate, for use in horses' diets where additional supplementation of nutrients may be beneficial. Essential amino acids must be supplemented in a horse's diet, as horses are not able to produce these themselves. These amino acids are important in developing healthy muscle, hoof and tissue as well aiding several biochemical pathways within the body.
Each scoop contains min 2,273 mg/max 2,557 mg calcium, min 1,563 mg phosphorus, min 227 mg potassium, min 41 mg iron, min 9.6 mg copper, min 85 mg zinc, min 0.2 mg selenium, min 28 mg manganese, min 2.1 mg iodine plus vitamins A, D and E.
Directions: Can be fed with fortified or unfortified grains. Fortified grains contain added vitamins and minerals and require a lower feeding rate of this supplement. If fed with unfortified grains - Maintenance: 2 oz daily per 1,000 lbs body weight; Pregnant/Lactating mares, Performance horses: 4 oz daily per 1,000 lbs body weight.
